Strength and Conditioning Program

Location: Eastlake High School weight room.

Grades: Entering 9, 10, 11, & 12

Days/Time: Monday, Wednesday, & Friday @12-1pm

June 20^th until September 2^nd 32 sessions.

Eastlake Cross Country/Track & Field Strength & Conditioning Staff:

Head Strength & Conditioning Coach, Dirk Huebner, has provided elite performance training for 20 years to a variety of athletes. Coach Huebner has a BS degree in Exercise Science and CSCS, USAW, ACE, USATF certifications. Coach Huebner is the sitting Washington State Director for the National High School Strength & Conditioning Association (NHSSCA). Coach Huebner specializes in speed development and has improved the speed for many high school, collegiate and NFL athletes.

Sports Performance Coach Dray Bailey has a Masters in Exercise Science. USAW, ACE certs. Coach Bailey has worked with various athletes from High School to Division 1 men’s and women’s teams. Coach Bailey has coached Track & Field at Eastlake for 6 years.

Sports Performance Coach Matt Pirie is a P.E. teacher at Eastlake high school where coaches football, track and teaches strength & conditioning for Eastlake students. Coach Pirie has a degree in Kinesiology and a M. Education. Prior to coming to Eastlake, he was the strength & conditioning coach for Royal High School and Washington State University.
