Meets
Track and Field meets are where all the hard work pays off. This means that we compete in every meet. Make sure you are appropriately dressed for the weather. Not all away meets have concessions available, so bring a snack or lunch if it’s an all-day meet and your water bottle.

INVITATIONALS
Invitationals involve multiple teams (usually 20-50) and provide athletes an opportunity to challenge themselves against a broad range of competitors. This is a critical part of our team’s preparation for Kingco and the post season championships. Most invites have qualifying standards, which limits the number of athletes that can compete. Event Coaches will let athletes know if they are invited. Invitationals take place on Fridays and Saturdays. All Invitationals are listed on the calendar.
Track and Field athletes are trained to ideally reach their peak performance level at the end of the season. The championship meets begin with Kingco League Championships. These are the final opportunity for the everyone on the team to compete, and improve upon their personal records (PR).
Kingco – Is comprised of a JV and V meet over 3 days. Kingco Varsity Championship takes place on Wednesday & Friday. The top 16 individuals and top 8 relay teams compete in this event. Individual and team trophies are awarded at the Varsity meet. All other athletes will compete at the Kingco JV Championship on Thursday.
State – The top two individuals and top two relay teams in each event from Varsity Kingco qualify for the State Championship. This meet brings together the best 16 individuals and relay teams from across Washington State to crown the State Champions.
